Discover How To Gain Weight Fast And Build Lean Mass By Lifting Weights Once A Week... For Less Than 45 Minutes!

"Paul Brodeur is one of the few men in history to have squatted over 1000 pounds.  Paul is 320 pounds of sheer bulk.  He performs each lift once a week for only one set and to complete muscular failure."
- Ironman Magazine, November 2001

Dear Friend,

It is frustrating to be unable to gain weight fast.  Everyone else around you wants to lose weight, yet you can't gain a pound of muscle no matter what you do!  I can appreciate your anguish as I once was in your position!

In late 1999, I visited the Mike Mentzer website.  Looking for inspiration, I happened to read a testimonial from former powerlifting champion, Paul Brodeur.  I talked with him and could not believe that he espoused a muscle mass routine which consisted of just one workout per week!

I met Paul at Metroflex Gym in early 2000 and went through the workout. Despite being sore for days, I called him several times throughout the week.  I bugged him constantly because I thought that I had to do more exercise.  I just couldn't believe that a muscle mass routine of just one workout a week was all that was necessary to gain quality muscle.

I am glad that he didn't drop me as a client because less than 14 months later I went from 196 pounds to 223 pounds... and zero increase in body fat percentage!

With Paul on the day I finally set a personal record in the bench, squat, and deadlift

The best parts were:

  • That I didn't have to do endless hours of cardio on the treadmill in order to keep my body fat in check while gaining the muscle weight; and
  • That the diet to gain weight was just basic food.  No fancy supplements requiring hundreds of dollars per month!
  • That I had already been lifting for years, so I made great progress years after the initial gains which a first-time weight trainer typically gets

Paul took the best from powerlifting, high intensity training, and his own experience to develop a weight lifting plan designed to help people gain weight even if they work full-time, have stressful jobs, have family obligations, and have such a busy schedule that they only can work out once a week.

"At first, I couldn't believe that anyone could gain muscle weight working out just once a week.  After talking with Matt, he convinced me to give this routine one month to see if it worked because he felt that my hectic schedule (classes & studying over 60 hours a week).  If it didn't, then he said that he would recommend alternatives for me at no cost.

In just 4 weeks of lifting and one week of rest, I gained 6 pounds and my body weight went up to 156 from 150.  I never did full squats before, and now I can squat below parallel 200 pounds for 15 reps.  My deadlifts went from 190 x 5 reps to 245 pounds x 8 reps.  I noticed the biggest muscle increase in my back and I am starting to fill out my shirts and suits."
